This week on-top of strength training and my spin class last night, I’ve decided to add something different to the mix. So today I took the 6 a.m. metabolic class. I did not want to try this out alone so I got my sister to sacrifice her sleep to join me hahaha, thank you Amanda!!! I have not taken a metabolic class since mid pregnancy. As some of you are aware, during metabolic classes there are about seven or more different high intensity exercise stations with measured rest periods. The stations that I found challenging today were the prowler and the body saw plank. After we finished a few rounds for every station, we ended the class with a finisher. For our finisher we did about five rounds of ball slams, body squats and push ups with no breaks. “No pain, no gain.” Needless to say I am pretty wiped after that class. This is my third week on my Baby Bounce Back program and I already see a difference. I noticed today that I now have some tummy muscles again, WOOHOO!!!! I am a fit yummy mummy hahaha!!! Slowly but surely.
Tomorrow is my second 6 a.m. strength training of the week with Julia Marrone. To end this week strong, I will finish out my third strength training session early Friday followed by my 11:10 a.m. spin class!! Yes I am officially back teaching my Friday morning spin classes!!!
A good ending to my week sets me up for the next week of training. Five days a week and going strong!!!
