Today I finished my week 2, day 2 training session. I have a love/hate relationship with my first exercise called Suitcase Deadlifts. The name speaks for itself.
What made this exercise so intense for me was that my core had to really work hard to maintain proper suitcase form because while you are lifting the kettle bell, in one arm, the weight of the bell pulls you down. So you want to stand fully straight and not fall over to the side. It’s really a great core strength exercise but it really kicks my post baby belly’s butt!!!!
All my exercises are pretty challenging being that I am only 7 weeks post baby but slowly and surely I am regaining my pre-pregnancy core strength. Another exercise that I found challenging were the Sled Drags. I am proud to say that I did not struggle as much this week as I did last week but man it was still toughhhhh!!!
This Friday I am hitting up Shore Results to do my third strength training for the week followed by my 5:30 p.m. spin class.
