Today I had my second training session with the head personal trainer of Shore Results, Brian Bott. I was a little intimidated at first since he reminds me of a drill sergeant. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. I had a great workout and really felt my core working again. Today’s core exercises felt pretty intense. One workout that really kicked my butt was where I held a 20kg kettlebell in one hand and had to squat down low trying to balance and not fall over. Mama Miaaaa, that made my muscles screammmmmm!!!! There were times that I felt like I could not finish a set or two. But I knew Brian would not give me anything that I could not handle especially since he designed my program.
During my workouts all I could think about was my little left over baby pouch. That thought was enough motivation to keep me going. If I keep training like this and follow my nutritional plan I should look like a lean mean fighting machine in no time.
My next training session is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. Monday morning. So far I feel great about my program and nutritional plan. I’m ready to take on week two of baby bounce back!!!
