HOLY SORENESS!!!! This morning I had my first strength training session with Julia Marrone. What an awesome yet sore workout. Being that I exercised throughout my entire pregnancy it is not too much of an uphill battle. I highly recommend if you plan on getting pregnant that you should exercise throughout your pregnancy, and of course talk with your doctor first. Exercising throughout my entire pregnancy definitely helped me with my labor and delivery. I’ve heard it also helps women bounce back even faster and I will test that theory with my weekly progress reports.
One area that I definitely feel I lost strength in is my core. So today we really focused on core workouts, arms and legs. Before I was pregnant I absolutely loved core workouts, maybe not as much now being that my abs were yelling “Oh hell no”!!! I just keep telling myself slowly but surely I will regain all strength again with the help of Shore Results.
Later tonight is my nutritional meeting with my nutritionist Kim Garrity. My goal is to find meals that are healthy, yet quick and easy to throw together, to make my life a little easier. With proper nutrition and following my program I WILL have my pre-pregnancy body back.
I must say I absolutely love my workout program and cannot waaaaaait until my next training session this Friday!!!! I’m 100% dedicated to this program and determined to get back into shape.
