I have officially setup and am ready to rock the new “Baby Bounce Back” program at Shore Results.
This is a 3 month all inclusive training program that includes:
- Complete Fitness Evaluation
- Individualized Program specifically designed for recovering from that baby weight
- 4 Intensive Semi-Private Coaching Sessions per Month
- UNLIMTED In-Gym Coaching
- Nutrition program including a thirty-minute Nutrition Consultation
- Full access to Eastpointe
- Plus the flexibility to work around my schedule and limitations of being a full time mom and maintaining a career.
During the first two trimesters of my pregnancy I worked out at Shore Results, then continued my membership at Eastpointe and taught my spin classes until a few weeks before my due date. Keeping active throughout my entire pregnancy is what I attribute to not just a comfortable pregnancy but also a relatively easy delivery. I gained about forty pounds during my pregnancy, luckily all belly and chest, and my goal is to get my pre-pregnancy body back.
This week I will start out with my “Functional Movement Screening”. For those that are not familiar with this screening; it is an analysis of a series of movements used to identify my mobility, stability and strength capabilities to help assign exercises that are appropriate for me. Next week I will start the week off with my “Body Composition Test”; which will measure my percentage of body fat, water composition, dry lean muscle mass, and more.
You are what you Eat
Being a mother is the most life changing experience, and naturally comes with challenges around energy and dieting. It’s so much easier to just grab something on the go; whether it be popping a lean cuisine in the microwave, stopping at a fast food restaurant or even grabbing a meal replacement bar. With the help of my nutritionist, we will create a plan that I can manage easily while being a mother, a wife, a career woman, and myself.
Ready, Set, GO!!!
I start my official first training session next Wednesday at 6 A.M. I chose the early morning because it won’t conflict with my work schedule or my husband’s work schedule and so one of us can always be with our daughter. I look forward to sharing my experience and progress with everyone and will continue with my weekly updates and progress.
